Gospel singer Guardian Angel's wife Esther Musila has talked about the importance of women praying for their husbands.

In an interview with the media, Musila urged married women to pray for their husbands.

She argued that Rachel's prayer culture made Ruto clinch the seat.

"I have learnt from mama Rachel Ruto that as wives, let's pray for our husbands," she said.

"When we go down on our knees as wives to pray for our husbands, that is what holds them together.

"It holds the family and the nation. I'm so proud of her and I'm going to emulate her.

"I'll pray for my husband, go down on my knees and pray for him every day."

Musila and Guardian Angel dated for three years before they formalised their union at a wedding early this year.

A few months ago, she thanked her husband Guardian for gracing her life and making it even more worth living.

"Having you in my life has made me a better person," she said.

"I thank the Almighty every day for bringing you into my life. For walking this journey of my life with me. I would never have wished for anyone else.

"The way you love me, you make me feel loved and taken care of and protected. Thank you for reminding me what batteries are like."

Her husband Guardian Angel celebrated her, saying she is the best thing that has ever happened in his life.
