Zuchu's mum Khadija Kopa has maintained that she does not recognise Diamond Platnumz as her daughter's lover.
Diamond's family have for a long time continued to hint that the two are in love.
Speaking to Wasafi, Khadija Kopa said Zuchu has always introduced him as a boss.
"Zuchu can only introduce me to the man who will marry her," she said.
"I can't force a relationship with my daughter. Diamond has neither told me he is my in-law."
The Taarab singer added that her daughter is free to love any man.
"Any man can be my in-law so long as my daughter loves them," she said.
Khadija also said Wasafi family will help her in releasing an EP as she marks 35 years in the music industry.
"I want to do that during my next birthday celebration. I am my daughter's biggest inspiration as she watched me struggle in the music industry."
