Singer Abigail has joined Sony Music Entertainment.

Abigail, a singer-songwriter who sings in Kiswahili, English and French, said she felt blessed to be one of the performing female artists to represent Africa on a major label.

"This is a dream come true, a manifestation of sorts and the constant pursuit to be better each day," she said.

"It is a testament to my faith and hard work. The world is about to get the Abigail experience."

Abigail is a Unicef Youth Advocate for Mental Health and Gender-Based Violence and has been hosted on the popular American show.

Welcoming her to a leading global music label, Sony Music East Africa head Christine ‘Seven’ Mosha said Abigail is a multi-faceted artiste with a powerful voice, look and energy that will captivate audiences.
