Roots International has organised Poleni (Condolences): Loss, Grief & Healing in Pandemic Times concert.

The Nairobi-based live music curating company is supported by Music in Africa and their partners Goethe Institute, Siemens Stiftung, German Federal Foreign Office and Homeboyz Entertainment.

The concert will serve as a space for acknowledgement of those who have been stricken with illness or lost loved ones during the pandemic.

It is also intended to serve as a medium of healing and recovery for those affected and as a moment of reflection to all.

The concert will take place on January 29 at the outdoor amphitheatre, National Museums of Kenya.

There will be two shows; one at 3pm at the matinee and an evening concert at 6pm.

Hosted by Rashid Jibril of Roots International, the concert will feature performances by Kato Change, Olivia Ambani, Maia von Lekow and Isaac Kimani.
