Coast-based Taarab singer Nyota Ndogo has called out married women who cannot wash their husbands' innerwear.
Nyota Ndogo in an Instagram video wondered why such women feel proud of their marriages yet they cannot do basic things, such as maintaining their men's hygiene.
The singer said both career women and housewives should wash their husband's undergarments.
"Who bewitched us, women? You are taken away from your parents' home, you join a new family after getting married," she said.
"You are supposed to serve your husband, but some women claim they cannot wash their men's boxers. You claim it is dirty, you cannot wash his underwear but are willing to lick his lolo."
In a recent interview, Nyota Ndogo said her husband pays her every month for being his wife.
