Gospel singer Size 8 has lost her five-month pregnancy.
Size 8 underwent surgery after her blood pressure shoot high.
Speaking on their YouTube channel, her husband DJ Mo said that the doctors decided to terminate the pregnancy due to his wife's Size 8 health.
"Dr Nyamu advised us, he said at this point we have to save the mum, we had no other option. We had to do that professionally, we are from the theatre and Linet is safe."
Size 8 said her blood pressure made it difficult to even have the surgery.
"My blood pressure rose to a high level and for some time stayed abnormally high.
Doctors tried all their best to manage my pressure but it still kept fluctuating. They even administered different drugs to no avail. I had to undergo surgery," she said.
Through her social media, Size 8 said it is painful but God is still on the throne.
"Whatever He decides He does, He gives, He takes and He is always right. I would have died but you choose to save me. Though my baby didn't make it I know she is well in your hands!
Thank you, God, for allowing @ladashabelle.wambo and @muraya.jnr to continue enjoying the presence of their mum!
In all things, you remain to be God God all by yourself and everything working together for good in our lives!! Hallelujah."
She further thanked her doctor, Dr Nyamu and the team at the hospital and her church leaders for supporting her during the difficult time.
"The couple had announced they were pregnant in August.
Speaking to Word Is, the mother of two said the pregnancy was unplanned.
She was in her second trimester.
"I learnt I was pregnant. I was in shock as it was a completely unplanned pregnancy," she said.
