Radio Jambo drive presenters Mbusi na Lion on Tuesday joined the Rastafarian Society of Kenya in planting trees at the Oloolua forest in Ngong.

Speaking prior to the day, RSK president Lojuron Jaden said they target to plant three million trees in memory of Jamaican political activist Marcus Garvey.

"We have been given the authority to take care of our environment, and that is one way we do it," he said.

"If you are 30 years, you need to plant 30 trees or adopt a tree if you cannot manage to come and plant a tree."

Speaking to Word Is, Lion urged Kenyans to plant more trees.

"We need to take care of the environment as the environment takes care of you and me."

Mbusi added, "Palipo na shimo panda miti, na sio kupanda tu, ni kupanda na kuitunza."
