GrandPa Records' vice president Visita has dismissed the 'haters' who have bad-mouthed the record label in the past.

He says that, if the record house was a "bad place" for artistes to work under, then the label wouldn't boast of A-list talents.

Himself a rapper and producer at the stable, Visita says that the 'hate' directed to the label holds no water to see it's fall.

"People talk a lot about things they do not know," he says, "Well, you should know that GrandPa is here to stay. If it is bad as some haters have said before, why do we have good artistes like Dufla Diligon working with us?"

He adds that on a personal level, he didn't take Dufla (the Tempo hit singer) seriously.

"Truth be told. When I first heard of Dufla, I did not take him seriously. Many times he came to the studio and I did not recognise him," he says.

Dufla Diligon.

"A few days later, I produced his first single Yes You Do. The beat, recording, mixing and mastering was done within two hours. A few months later, Dufla was recording his music with Grandpa," he continued, "Again truth be told, Dufla faced a lot of bullsh*t from the very people he said inspired him. He was told to go back to Samburu because he had no talent. But he never gave up."
