Kenya's first 'fashion-meets-music' festival

Nairobi's glitteratti converged at Toby's in Runda last weekend for the inaugural Kelele Jazz Festival.

This is an innovative and sophisticated music-meets-fashion concept combining all genre of music and good dressing etiquette.

Former Mr Kenya Odada Okello said in a release that the event is for "forward looking, upward rising young professionals who know how to have fun and still work hard enough to succeed."

The maiden festival saw performances by recording artiste Ritah Khatushi who was joined by Tusker Project Fame season 5 winner Ruth Matete. The event will be held every first Sunday and will be hosted at Toby's Club.

"There will be awards for the best dressed male and female and also, Models Republik will be awarding a male and female model of the month.
