American gospel artist Don Moen is in Kenya for the first time. He will host the ‘Worship at The Gates’ event at KPA Mbaraki Stadium on May 1-2.
The celebrated singer, born Donald James who has many hats including songwriter, pastor, worship leader and a producer will be accompanied by fellow artist Lenny Leblanc.
A Mombasa church, International Christian Centre wrote a letter to Don Moen on October last year inviting him to perform in Mombasa and he agreed.

“We are aiming to bring together churches from all denominations to worship the Lord as one family. There is already excitement from Mombasa residents and everyone is eagerly waiting for the day. We have spoken to county and national governments to provide security and all measures have been in place,” said Munene.
