Meta’s Whatsapp is currently working on a new feature that will improve the forwarding of media by users.

Currently, when a person forwards any media with a caption, it sends without a caption.

According to WABetaInfo who found the update, the new feature will make it possible to forward images, videos, GIFs, and other documents with their original caption attached.

Users are also expecting other new features to be rolled out by the firm, including; Adding 1024 people in groups, leaving groups silently, creating polls, setting avatars as profile pictures and the ability to block screenshots in chats.

The feature will roll out globally to all users and be sure we will notify you once it is out.
