WhatsApp to roll out voice status update soon

WhatsApp is working on voice status update for its application.

According to WABetaInfo, the feature will allow users to share 30 second voice notes with contacts based on their privacy settings.

Users will also be allowed to choose a background colour for their voice notes which will pop up as a message bubble.

The feature appears similar to a text composer that allows users update the status in text form.

The voice note will be automatically played every time you open a voice status update.

The feature is still under development and will be rolled out globally soon.
