If you use WhatsApp Web, there is a new feature that offers a multi-device beta program.
This feature will allow you to link up to four devices, which includes browsers and other devices, without the need to keep your phone connected.
The company has confirmed through a post.... that the features support end-to-end encryption which means, all your messages, calls and media remain private.
The new feature also allows you to make calls through the WhatsApp web, desktop and portal, as long as they have joined the Beta version.
Another bonus is that you can access your messages and information even when the main phone does not have an internet connection.
However, if the main device remains disconnected for over 14 days, the linked devices will be logged out automatically.
This feature does not support those using a very old version of WhatsApp.

The multi-beta feature also does not support messages with link previews from WhatsApp web and creating or viewing a broadcast list on companion devices.
