The Kenya Covid-19 Fund in conjunction with Equity Foundation Group handed over Personal Protective Equipment to Mathari National Teaching and Referral Hospital on Wednesday.

The PPEs are an important measure of infection prevention and control for the frontline workers during the fight against Covid-19 pandemic. The PPEs will be distributed to 68 hospitals across the counties.

The event was presided over by Equity Group chairman Isaac Macharia. In attendance were Equity Group chairman Isaac Macharia and Kenya Covid-19 Fund Board chairperson Jane Karuku.

Jane said all the effort frontline workers have made to help in fighting the coronavirus pandemic was purely voluntary and they are grateful for that.
