They donated goods worth Sh6 million at Prisons Headquarters, Nairobi

Kenya Red Cross and International Committee of the Red Cross on Friday donated anti-corona items worth Sh6.1 million to the Kenya Prisons.

The donations included medical and cleaning equipment, sanitary towels and tents for isolation facilities. These will help in the prevention and spread of Covid-19 in the prisons.

In attendance were Kenya Red Cross communications manager Peter Abawo, ICRC head of regional delegation Olivier Dubois and Kenya Prison Service commissioner general Wycliffe Ogallo.

The function happened at Prisons Headquarters, Nairobi.
