On Thursday, mourners gathered at St Paul Chapel, Nairobi, to pay their last respects to UoN academic registrar Bernard Waweru. 

They included family, friends, University of Nairobi senior officials and businessmen.

Among those who attended the memorial was the immediate former UoN vice-chancellor Peter Mbithi.
