Two gracefully ageing lovebirds celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in Kandwia village, Mwingi North subcounty, Kitui county.

Josphat Mulyungi and his wife of 50 years Stellamaris  Martha are both 70 years old.

The duo renewed their vows and exchanged gold wedding rings in a ceremony presided over by priest George Marete from Mutomo Parish in Kitui. They served cake and champagne.

Former assistant minister Ezekiel Mweu, lawyer Wilfred Mati and his politician brother John Munuve, ABDP procurement specialist Samuel Ikima and MCA Stephen Musili were among the invited guests.
