Mask Prize is a unique platform for young people. The awards were held at Michael Joseph Centre Nairobi on October 17.  The six winners in the 15-25 category were awarded Sh25,000 and a trip to Jeff Koinange’s house to see his art collection.

The Mask Prize programme is meant to encourage creativity and innovation among young people and children, and celebrates it with prizes and exhibitions. It is also a platform dedicated to supporting creativity and innovation of young Africans. It tells the creative story of contemporary Africa.

Prizes were awarded by guest of honour Turk Pikin, founder of the charity The Nobelity Project in USA, Jeff Koinange and Unilever director Elsie Wandera.
