On Saturday, The Alchemist in Westlands, hosted an afternoon bazaar of food and crafts with local live reggae, percussion, hip hop, funk and deejays.

Named Rub-a-Dub Therapy, it was the first full collaboration between event partners Bad Mambo and Kaya Kenya, who have set a new standard and style of event in Nairobi. Curated by Kaya Kaya creative director Matthew Swallow, the event truly reflected the massive talent Kenyans have.

Guest artists included Nazizi, Shamia, Binti Africa, Shoeshine Boy and the Tune Dem Band, a truly local line up. They were backed up by the Kaya Collective, a new eight piece funk and reggae band. This 'mini-festival' could very well be the next big thing.

In attendance were Zawadi Nyong'o, Creatveus creative director Ray Mwihaki and Pop-up Nairobi's Nicole Mcmahon.
