Dear Diary organised a fashion show to raise funds for physically challenged people at Fort Jesus in Mombasa on Friday night. All the models who participated were people living with disabilities.
The organisation's founder, Nafisa Khanbhai, who is living with disability, noted that all the proceeds from the event would be channeled towards a children with disability home in Kanamai in Mtwapa, Kilifi county, which has 140 members.
The event was attended by hundreds of people, including Mombasa county gender and sports executive Mohamed Abbas and director of gender and youth department Esther Ingolo.
