'Lungs for Kenya' Golf Day at Karen

Conservation organisation Nature Kenya held their sixth annual charity golf day at the Karen Country Club in Nairobi on Friday.The tournament was part of the 'Lungs for Kenya', acampaign initiated by Nature Kenya with the aim of raising funds to plant one million trees in four sites in Coastal Kenya in 2014.

Conservation organisation Nature Kenya held their sixth annual charity golf day at the Karen Country Club in Nairobi on Friday.

The tournament was part of the 'Lungs for Kenya', a

campaign initiated by Nature Kenya with the aim of raising funds to plant one million trees in four sites in Coastal Kenya in 2014.

This year's

proceeds went towards raising awareness of Kenya’s valuable ecosystems, and empower local communities to take the lead in their conservation.

Present were Nature Kenya executive director Dr Paul Matiku, Vivo managing director Polycarp Igathe and MMP director Meera Shah.
