As one of the most used rooms in your house, a bathroom needs cleaning more often, and keeping your bathroom clean does not have to take a whole day to give it a good scrub.

Many of these cleaning hacks use everyday household items and you can still be sure of a sparkling space in less time.

Use vinegar and baking soda to clean tiles and grout

Mix equal amounts of white vinegar and baking soda to form a paste.

Apply the paste to the tiles and grout letting it sit for 5-10 minutes then scrub with a brush and rinse off with water.

Clean the toilet bowl with baking soda and vinegar

Sprinkle baking soda inside the toilet bowl then pour white vinegar over it.

Let the mixture fizz for a few minutes then scrub with a toilet brush and flush.

Vinegar is very good at removing limescale and soap-sum residue.

Use lemon to clean the shower head

Cut a lemon in half and rub it over the showerhead. The acidity of the lemon will help dissolve mineral buildup and leave your showerhead shiny.

Use a squeegee to prevent water spots on glass shower doors

After each shower, use a squeegee to remove excess water from the glass doors as this will help prevent water spots and keep your shower doors looking clean.

Cleaning your brush holder

It is best to use mild soap and water when you want to clean your toilet brush and holder.

Simply fill up a bucket with warm water and add a small amount of soap then submerge the brush holder in the solution.

Use a brush to scrub away any dirt or grime and then rinse the holder thoroughly with clean water allowing it to air dry completely before using it again.

Disinfect your toilet brush holder

After each use pour a small amount of disinfectant into your toilet brush holder.

This prevents the buildup and circulation of germs.
