He said he could not believe the results he got and he looks forward to learning more from Owino’s classes.

“Before I forget, I have a Christmas gift for you, a camel, but I don’t know how it will reach you,” he said.

Owino also congratulated Mohamed for his great performance on his Facebook account.

“Congratulations to Abdiqani Mohamed who lives in Mandera county and passed with flying colours. From scoring 200 marks as a norm to getting 370 in his final KCPE exams. Wow!” He said.

Owino has been offering free Mathematics classes to Form 4 and Standard 8 candidates since the onset of Covid-19.

Through his social media pages, that is Facebook, Twitter and Youtube, the class attracted a viewership of more than 2000.

Before this year’s KCPE and KCSE exams, Owino picked topics ranging from Form 1 to Form 4 including LCM, algebra, variations, decimals, vectors, equations, differentiation and binomial expansion to teach.

Owino started by encouraging the students saying Mathematics is an easy subject.

"I always try to make it as easy as possible. These are the common topic and they will be set in KCSE," Owino said.
