The weekend is finally here, and with the current cold temperatures, you might probably choose to stay indoors and enjoy a cocktail with some Netflix.

Here is how you can make a simple tasty cocktail for yourself, your loved one, or your friends.

Gin can is best mixed with straight flavours like in Gin and Tonic.

Ingredients:

Blueberry Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup blueberries; fresh and washed
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

Blueberry Gin Cocktail

  • 2 ounces blueberry simple syrup
  • 2 ounces Gin
  • 4 ounces Tonic water
  • lemon juice; optional
  • fresh blueberries; optional

Preparation

Step 1

To make the Blueberry Simple Syrup, first in a small saucepan, add the blueberries, water, and granular sugar. While stirring, heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture comes to a boil.

Step 2

Remove from heat, then cover with a lid, allowing the mixture to reduce to room temperature.

Step 3

Once it cools pour the Blueberry Simple Syrup over a mesh strainer and into a glass container to remove the blueberry pulp.

Step 4

To make the cocktail, add ice cubes to a glass then add the blueberry syrup, gin and tonic water. Squeeze a fresh lemon and top off with blueberries. Stir until combined and enjoy.

Cheers! Drink responsibly!
