Overnight oats are a perfect healthy breakfast that can easily be prepared ahead of time in just a couple of minutes.

Oats are vegan and sugar-free; packed with whole grains, fibre and proteins.

Overnight oats are soaked in milk first at night; before cooking.

Although soaking them in milk can leave them a little soggy, adding a few chia seeds helps thicken your oats.

Ingredients

  • Chia seeds
  • 1 cup of Oats
  • 1 cup of Milk
  • Honey
  • Salt

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all the ingredients in a medium-sized container, then cover and put in the fridge overnight.

Step 2

Remove from the fridge; you can warm a bit in the microwave then add your favourite toppings fruits or nuts and enjoy.
