When it comes to burgers, they are a good choice of snack or an accompaniment, especially with fries or potato wedges.
A good burger should not fall apart and the bite should be soft and moist, for you not to choke.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 burger buns split in half
- Vegetable oil
- 500g lean ground beef, (minced meat)
- 4 slices American cheese or cheddar
- 6 slices crispy cooked bacon
- Onion rings
- BBQ sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Using a pan lightly butter each bun until crispy then set aside.
Step 2
To create beef parties, Form each 2-ounce portion of beef into thin (bun sized) patties and generously season all sides with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Pour 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil into the pan and place the beef parties for 3 minutes on each side.
Step 4
Top each patty with a slice of American cheese and close the pan lid for 1 minute or until the cheese starts melting.
Step 5
Remove the beef from the pan, fry the onion rings and bacon then set aside.
Step 6
Stuck each bun with BBQ sauce, patties with cheese, bacon and onion rings. Add desired sauce or topping then top with the other bun slice.
Serve and enjoy with a cold smoothie.
