Happy National Frappe Day! Frappe is a sweet iced coffee blended with milk and expresso.
Frappe comes from French, where it describes drinks with chilled or frozen to a slushy consistency.
Frappe was invented through an experiment by Dimitris Vakondios, who was a Nescafe representative from Thessaloniki, Greece.
Very popular in Greece and Cyprus.

INGREDIENTS
- Heavy cream
- Water
- Sugar
- Ice cubes
- Instant coffee
STEP 1
- Pour water, coffee and sugar in a mason jar, ensure it's tightly closed and shake vigorously.
- If you have a blender you can use it.
- Shake or blend for 1-2 minutes until it turns foamy.
STEP 2
Fill your glass halfway with ice cubes.
STEP 3
Pour the froth into the glass and top off with the heavy cream.
STEP 5
Sprinkle chocolate, blueberry or strawberry syrup or desired treats and enjoy!
