YouTuber and content creator Eve Mungai has come out to deny claims that she regrets breaking up with Director Trevor.
This follows viral social media posts claiming the content creator is in deep regret and possibly depressed.
Eve Mungai addressed these claims, commenting under the said posts.
"I am sorry for leaving to try a different path. It was a mistake," read one fake post.
"I regret kuachana na Trevor," read another.
The two fake posts went viral, sparking debate about Eve's and Trevor's relationship.
The story quickly spread across social media, especially TikTok and X, with other stories that Mungai apologised to Trevor and wanted to reunite, stemming from the viral fake news.
Netizens had mixed reactions to these claims, with some doubting the news and questioning where the content creator had said the quoted words.
"When did I even say this?" Eve Mungai commented on X under a fake graphic that quoted her expressing regret for leaving Trevor.
The content creator has denied the claims that she regrets splitting with Director Trevor.
In February 2024, Eve made the breakup with her boyfriend of almost six years public.
The content creator also reacted to the viral video of Geoffrey Mosiria urging Director Trevor to forgive and support her.
Mosiria's statement followed the viral spread of fake posts claiming Eve's regret.
"The past is gone; they should now focus on the present and future by nurturing and supporting one another," Mosiria captioned a video he posted on X regarding Eve Mungai's speculated situation.
In the video, Mosiria stated that he has seen news that Eve Mungai is regretful for leaving Trevor and that she is not doing really well in content creation.
He urged Eve to reach out to her ex-boyfriend, claiming that he had already talked to Trevor to help Eve build and brand her content.
