TikTok has launched TikTok for Artists in Kenya, a new insights platform aimed at helping artists, labels, and their teams track music performance, engage fans, and grow their careers both on and off the platform.

The all-in-one platform, which made its global debut earlier this year, provides artists with daily-updated dashboards and comprehensive analytics.

It offers clear data on how songs and content are performing on TikTok, while also revealing how fans are engaging with them.

Among the tools available are detailed song performance reports showing views, posts, and creator interactions, as well as post-level analytics highlighting views, likes, shares, and completion rates.

Artists can also access follower insights, including demographic breakdowns by gender, age, and language, alongside guides and resources tailored to long-term career development.

The platform also introduces a new Pre-Release tool, giving artists the ability to create campaigns for upcoming albums and enabling fans to pre-save music directly to streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.

“TikTok has always been a key space for music discovery and promotion across Africa,” said Toyin Mustapha, Head of Music Partnerships, UK, Ireland, and SSA at TikTok.

“With TikTok for Artists in Kenya, we’re giving creators access to data that helps them connect more meaningfully with fans and grow their careers globally.”

The service is now available to all certified TikTok Artist Accounts, with the option for artists to grant access to managers and label teams to support campaign planning and execution.

With this rollout, TikTok is reaffirming its commitment to Africa’s music industry by providing creators with tools that empower them to build sustainable global careers.
