Content creator Eve Mungai shared on her Instagram that she was battling severe depression between April and June this year.

Through a Q&A session with her fans on Instagram Stories, a fan asked if the content creator had ever been depressed before and how she handled it.

She revealed that April and June had been the toughest times of her life while battling depression.

 Eve Mungai added that she spent most of her days in bed, barely eating, saying it was a dark time.

However, she sought help and allowed support from family and close friends, helping in her recovery. She also credited prayer to find her way back.

"I'm grateful to be here, stronger, and healing," Eve Mungai added to her post.

In addition to this, the content creator explained why she took a break from Interviews and podcasts.

"After five years of the same routine, I finally got tired," she wrote in response to why she stepped away from doing what made her famous.

The content creator who rose to fame through her YouTube channel with over 180,000 subscribers, interviewing celebrities, said she had lost herself chasing other people's dreams and not her own, leaving her feeling burned out.

However, her fans were given a reason to smile when the content creator wrote that she would soon be back on her podcast, Hey Girl, after taking time for herself and restrategizing.

Eve also addressed her relationship status on the Q&A, confirming she is currently single and she is not accepting dates.

"I don't accept dates. Respectfully, I just find it hard to understand human beings, so I don't put myself in such positions," Eve wrote regarding why she is not accepting dates.

The YouTuber also shared her daily routine with her fans, sharing that she has a 5-kilometer mandatory walk as part of it. "My 5km walk is a non-negotiable daily ritual!" she wrote.

Eve Mungai confirmed that she is in a better place now after battling and conquering depression.
