U-turn along Ngong Road to be closed until January 2024

Motorists intending to use the U-turn will be re-directed to use the City mortuary Roundabout.

Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) on Wednesday announced the U-Turn along Ngong Road (opposite Muchai Drive) will be temporarily closed.

It will be closed from 6 am on Thursday, December 21, 2023, till 6 pm Friday, January 5, 2024,

The said move is to enable the contractor to install a median column for the ongoing Construction of the Coptic Hospital Footbridge.

"We wish to notify the general public that we shall partially close the U-Turn along Ngong Road (opposite Muchai Drive) as from 6AM Thursday 21st December, 2023 till 6PM Friday 5th January, 2024," they said on their X account.

They however said traffic will move normally along the existing dual carriage way.

They said motorists intending to use the U-turn will be re-directed to use the City mortuary Roundabout.

"We apologize for any inconveniences caused as we endeavor towards Transforming Urban Mobility."
