Transzoia Governor George Natembeya on Saturday celebrated his birthday although he did not specify how old he was turning.
In a tweet on Saturday, Natembeya said he was grateful to God and the support from his family and the people of Kenya.
"We men usually forget such days, but it's my birthday. I heartily thank Almighty Jehovah for another year, good health, and the invaluable support of my family, the great people of Trans Nzoia and entire Kenya," he said.
The governor said his life is a testament that a man is shaped by his community.
He expressed his gratitude to all and assured his commitment to serving the people of Transzoia.
"As I enter a new year of my life, I want to reaffirm my commitment to the people of Trans Nzoia. We will continue working together to develop our county and ensure unity and peace prevail," Natembeya said.
Kenyans were also not left behind and shared kind birthday wishes to him.
