Musician Esther Akoth Kokeyo popularly known as Akothee has announced a social media break to focus on her new marriage.
Akoth took to her Instagram on Monday saying she wants to put everything on hold and concentrate on her love life.
"I will take a break from everyone and everything including social media. Allow me to look for my second last-born baby before we talk about other things. I want to be a mother this year, Omondi the 7th wants a baby," Akothee said.
She said her husband has ordered her to quit social media, stop working and leave Kenya before Friday.
Akothee said a wedding is the beginning of living together and knowing each other better.
She said they are yet to go on their honeymoon as they have not found time.
"We haven't even opened our wedding gifts, my husband left for work immediately after a rest of two weeks," the musician said.
"Days are running and the year is getting closer, we are not pregnant yet. I think I am too stressed. So I want to put everything on hold and concentrate on my love life," Akothee said.
The mother of five said if she does not get pregnant between now and July, every other thing will wait.
She said her doctor told her to hold on until after the wedding.
That weddings are energy-draining therefore, she might not get pregnant that soon or she might lose the pregnancy again.
Last month, Akothee got married to Dennis ‘Omosh’ Schweizer in a ceremony that attracted the attention of who is who in Kenya.
She said she doesn't think she will ever have another beautiful wedding like the one she had, adding that the next one will be a unique one too.
