Former Machakos First Lady Lilian Nganga- Owino has slammed podcasters for spreading misinformation.

Lilian accused the Iko Nini Podcast duo; Mwafreeka and DJ ZaQ of making comments about the property she shared with Governor Alfred Mutua.

The podcast was titled, "What Alfred Mutua should've asked Lilian before giving her hotel shares", and the duo discussed at length the matter that is in court.

"No one gave me a part of the hotel. The hotel is 50/50 a limited company. Very sad, if you are fathers to girls," she said.

In a statement through her lawyer Philip Murgor, Lilian explained what had happened.

"I, therefore, call for a criminal investigation into this serious criminal offence. Along with the same fraudulent conduct, Mr Alfred Mutua recently and illegally transferred my shares in the Ndash Enterprises LTD (the hotel company)."

Mutua and Lilian announced their breakup on August 15, 2021, with Lilian making it clear that she was never married to Mutua, but rather they were long-term partners.

She also alleged that her shares in Ndash Enterprises Ltd - the hotel company - were transferred without her consent and she named the company after her high school nickname, Ndash.

"At no point did I execute a transfer of my shares or otherwise transfer my 1,800 shares (45%) shareholding in the company," she said.

Ng'ang'a maintained that her separation from Mutua was not amicable, contrary to what the governor had said in previous interviews.

Last month, Lilian and singer Juliani exchanged vows in an invite-only event.

The two held a private wedding at an undisclosed location in Kiambu county.

Lilian was dressed in a baby pink flowing wedding gown and Juliani had a snow-white t-shirt with an ivory jacket, Dark-coloured pair of trousers and white sneakers.

The two are also expecting their first child together. During the wedding, the baby bump was visible.
