The chicken sandwich is made from the boneless breast of chicken seasoned with a spicy blend of peppers and a few other ingredients.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp. ginger garlic paste
- salt and pepper to taste
- vegetable oil
Toppings
- buns
- bacon strips
- cheese slices
- lettuce
- tomatoes
- mayo
Preparation
Step 1
Put the chicken and 1 tablespoon of oil in a sealable bag. Pound the chicken using a mallet to an even ½ inch thickness.
Step 2
Put in a small bowl, garlic powder, paprika, onion and cayenne.
Step 3
Season the chicken with salt and the spice blend and garlic paste. Put in the bag and marinate for 20 minutes at room temperature.
Step 4
Grill the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side or until it reaches an internal temperature of 75 degrees.
Step 5
Toast the buns and layer the lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and chicken on the bun. Add cheese and serve.
Enjoy with a mock tail or cold beverage.
