Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, located in Vosne-Romanée, is one of the most prestigious vineyard sites in Burgundy, France. With the exception of the Chardonny-only Montrachet, Domaine de La Romanée-Conti is known for producing exceptional, rare reds from Pinot Noir, prized for their structured fruit, perfume and longevity. The 1978 variety is descibed

as having an “incredible taste, rich, young and untamed,”

"An experience that no tasting notes can do it justice". That said, it has diverse aroma hints including

spice, mineral, nutmeg, sandlewood, cherry liquor and the texture is pure, layered and goes down like silk.

With a vintage bottle retailing between one and two million shillings, only a few of the wealthiest collectors in the world can afford Romanée-Conti. How's that for exclusivity?
