In Summary

• The government should uphold serious consequences to any unprofessional person who performs abortions on young girls anyhow.

• Special programmes should be implemented to teach girls about the risk of having abortions and also campaign against it.

While the Constitution allows abortion on wide grounds, the penal code has remained restrictive.

Most of the parents do not know what their teenage girls go through, especially in universities, and they assume they are doing well.

The parents are mostly busy making an income.

Most of these teenagers have committed themselves to meaningless relationships that involve unprotected sexual affairs leading to unwanted pregnancies.

This makes the girls feel rejected and stigmatised and the only option is an abortion that might lead to death.

The government should uphold serious consequences to any unprofessional person who performs abortions on young girls anyhow.

Special programmes should be implemented to teach girls about the risk of having abortions and also campaign against it.

Most parents are too strict on their children such that they cannot open up to them.

Parents should not neglect their children once they found out they’re pregnant, instead, try and be there for them.

Since abortion has been normalised, it should now be stopped because it also leads to depression and is destroying the future generation.

Parents and guardians should therefore not assume that their children are doing well, they should get time to talk to them against early and meaningless relationships, irresponsible sexual affairs and abortion.

Abortion is a bad idea!
