It is time for Azimio and ODM to wake up and move on.

The coalition has been rocked by petty squabbling over who is responsible for their election loss. Blame has been heaped on former ICT  CS Joe Mucheru, Suna East MP Junet Mohammed and Azimio  spokesperson Makau Mutua but, in reality, they did as much as humanly possible to win the election for Raila.

Moreover the state threw its full weight behind Raila.

The margin of victory was very narrow. Another one percent and everyone in Azimio would have been patting each other on the back.

But, as we all know, that narrow victory went to President William Ruto. Azimio and ODM lost, as confirmed by the Supreme Court.

Azimio should conduct an internal analysis of what went wrong rather than allowing a damaging dispute to erupt in public, kicked off by the NTV interview with Saitabao Kanchory, Raila Odinga's chief electoral agent.

Azimio and ODM should be concentrating on the future, not on the past. If Azimio and ODM continue like this, they will disintegrate permanently, and that is not in their interest or the national interest.
