Former Bunyore Starlets head coach Tomothy Ondeko and assistant Absalom Mariga with the players.

Midfielder Noel Shilachilo and striker Agnes Olesi are among the notable players set to leave  Bunyore Starlets in the ongoing Federation of Kenya Football (FKF) transfer window.

Shilachilo is joining Eldoret Falcons while her counterpart Olesi is set for Fortunes in Mombasa alongside Eve Chemutai.

Others set to exit are winger Bracksides Itambo, who is headed to Kakamega Starlets and team captain Naomi Alumasi, who is set to join  Makolanders alongside Rebbeca Misango.

The club's chief executive officer, Zacharia Amakhana, said while they are yet to clear most of the players, they have already reported to their new clubs.

The exit notice of the players follows rumours that Bunyore Starlets players had boycotted camp over their payments.

The club was among those who received funding from Vihiga County Sports Fund a week ago. Bunyore Starlets were reported to have received Sh 550,000 and players were given a paltry Sh2000 each.

Amakhana confirmed that the Luanda-based side had not reported to the camp in preparation for the 2024/2025 season.

"Most of our key players have moved to NSL and I can't explain why. Reasons are well known to our players," he said.
