In Summary

  • This means working to build a more inclusive and equitable society, where all Kenyans feel valued and respected.
  • We need a dialogue on developing the country and how we can move forward together into prosperity.

Teams selected by President William Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga have been holding talks aimed at helping the country move past the 2022 general election. The committee started receiving submissions from the public on September 22 after various groups sent memoranda on proposals they wanted to be considered during the talks.

Last week, the team received the final submissions from the public participation exercise and is expected to reconvene on Wednesday to start building consensus on the issues at hand.

As the team retreats to deliberate and prepare its report, it is important to remind them why this exercise is critical and what Kenyans expect. There is no room for failure and we should not get back to this moment after this is settled.

One of the most important things the NDC can do is put Kenya first. This means putting the interests of the country above the interests of any individual or group. It also means working to build a more inclusive and equitable society, where all Kenyans feel valued and respected.

There are a number of ways that the NDC can put Kenya first. One way is to focus on the issues that matter most to Kenyans. This includes the cost of living, unemployment and corruption. The NDC should also address the root causes of political conflict, such as ethnic division and inequality.

Another way the NDC can put Kenya first is to be transparent and accountable to the public. The committee should hold regular public consultations and keep Kenyans informed of its progress. It should also be open to feedback and criticism.

The NDC should be willing to compromise and find common ground. This will be essential if the team is to be successful in its mission to promote national unity and healing.

Putting Kenya first is not always easy. It requires putting the country's interests above personal or partisan interests. However, it is essential if Kenya is to move forward and build a better future for all its citizens.

The NDC has a unique opportunity to make a real difference in Kenya. By putting Kenya first, the NDC can help to build a more united, prosperous, and equitable country. It can offer us solutions that will ensure that this country moves forward as one.

Kenya is at a crossroads. The country is facing a number of challenges, including a struggling economy, corruption and political instability. To overcome these challenges, it is essential that the dialogue team puts Kenya first.

The team must also be willing to make difficult decisions, even if those decisions are not popular. The committee is facing a lot of pressure. There are many people who want it to succeed, but there are also many people who want it to fail. The team must be strong and united in order to overcome this pressure.

The future of Kenya depends on the success of the dialogue team. If the team fails, Kenya will continue to suffer. However, if the team succeeds, Kenya can become a prosperous and stable country.

The NDC has a difficult task ahead of it, but it also has the potential to make a real difference in Kenya. It is important that it puts Kenya first and works hard to find solutions to the country's problems.

The team must recommend long-term solutions to the issues that have led to this dialogue. It cannot be that we have to go to the negotiating table every time we end an election cycle.

If Kenyan politicians put Kenya first, it will benefit the country as a whole. The country will be more prosperous, and the people will be happier. And this is the spirit that the Bomas talks must take.

We should also realise that what we need now is to discuss how to build and develop our country. In other words, we need a dialogue on developing the country and how we can move forward together into prosperity.
