A man who used the name of Deputy President William Ruto’s sister to obtain Sh89,000 has been arrested.
The suspect identified as Geoffrey Kiplangat
used Susan Samoei’s name to obtain the money.
He was arrested in Eldoret town and brought to Nairobi for interrogation.
Susan is Ruto’s younger sister and she complained to police of the incident leading to the arrest.
Kiplangat was held at the Central police station and is expected in court to face charges of obtaining money through false pretence.
