Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and his wife Mama Ida played host to the daughter of former Tanzania President John Pombe Magufuli.
According Raila, Jessica Magufuli had passed by to wish him well ahead of the African Union Commission chairmanship elections set for next weekend.
“Jessica Magufuli, daughter to former president John Magufuli, dropped in to wish us well!” he said.
The Magufuli and Odinga families have kept close ties over the years and they remain great friends.
Magufuli died in 2021 just months after he had started his second term as President of Tanzania.
