The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has released the dates for registration of Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
KNEC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) David Njengere said the council will commence registration of the 2025 KPSEA candidates on January 27, 2025.
He said registration of the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment and KCSE will start on February 17.
"I wish to appeal to all centre managers to ensure that all candidates are registered accurately," Njengere said.
"This is one area that we usually have a very big challenge, the capture of candidates’ registration details," he said.
Njengere was speaking on Thursday at the KNEC headquarters during the release of KCSE results.
The CEO has called parents to coordinate with schools to ensure the correct details of the students are captured in the system.
"Parents too need to take it as their responsibility to coordinate with the schools so
that every candidate is registered and their details are accurate especially
the spelling of their names and the order of their names and their subjects
that they will be registering for."
