Bonveture Chengeck retains his position in the roads department, and Douglas Sasita continues to oversee lands, physical planning, housing, and municipalities.
Andrew Wekesa shifts from health to water and natural resources, and Monicah Fedha moves from agriculture to gender, sports, and culture.
David Wanyonyi Wamamili moves from education to Trade, while Crispinus Barasa maintains his Finance docket.
The newly appointed chief officers are Timothy Wafula for the youth docket, David Maling'a for gender and culture, Rashid Fwamba for housing and municipalities, Andrew Wamukoya for economic planning, Sam Nalwa for education and vocational training, and Andrew Musungu for livestock and veterinary services.
Governor Lusaka expressed confidence in the talents he has chosen and assured residents of improved services.
“We have worked very well, but I am persuaded that we can do much better. As the team leader, I carry the vision but I cannot deliver the vision alone. I need a team that not only understands but also shares my vision and is willing to go the full hog to realize the same,” he stated.
He added that part of the reorganisation has been occasioned by the end of the term of the tenure of some chief officers.
“For those exiting, I thank them for their selfless service to the people of Bungoma,” he said.
