Ruto, Gachagua score D in latest performance rating by Infotrak

Ruto's score was a drop from C (52 per cent) in March.

President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua have each scored a D according to the latest performance rating by Infotrak. 

The Performance Appraisal Poll for May was released on Monday. 

According to the poll, Ruto scored a D (46 per cent) in his performance rating in May.

This was a drop from a score of C (52 per cent) in March.

Additionally, Ruto scored 48 per cent in his ability to communicate to Kenyans what he is doing. 

On Ruto's competency and ability to deliver on assigned duties, the President scored 47  per cent. 

Ruto scored 45 per cent in his ability to address the issues affecting Kenyans.

Gachagua's performance score also dropped from 48 per cent in March to 42 per cent in May.

Gachagua scored 42 per cent when it comes to his ability to communicate to Kenyans what he is doing. 

He also scored 42 per cent in his ability to deliver on assigned tasks. 

Quantitative interviews were conducted through Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews (CATI).

There was a +2.5 at 95 per cent degree of confidence with 92 per cent response rate.

The survey was conducted among a sample of 1,700 respondents aged 18 years and above at the time of the survey.

The survey which covered all the 47 counties and eight regions of Kenya was conducted between May 23 to 29.
