Musician Bahati launches new reality TV show on Netflix

Kenyan musician Kevin Bahati and wife Diana Marua have launched their Reality TV show dubbed ‘The Bahati Empire’.

The new reality TV show revolves around Bahati and his family.

The official premiere of the reality show will take place on Netflix on Friday, June 7.

Different Kenyan celebrities from the Entertainment graced the event.

The event was attended by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua accompanied by Lang'ata Mp Phelix Odiwuor (Jalang'o) and nominated Senator Karen Nyamu.

Various renowned musicians, actors, and actresses were also present.

The Bahati's Empire launch comes after the couple had posted a series of cryptic messages on social media.

It was later that they disclosed to fans about the Reality TV show and shared the trailer that features The Murayas, Karen Nyamu, Jalang’o, and Rev Lucy Natasha among others.

"We Were the First Kenyan Family to have a Reality on National TV (Being Bahati on NTV) and now we make history as the first Kenyan family to have a Reality Show on Netflix. All Glory Goes to our Lord Jesus Christ," he wrote.

"It’s official! The first Kenyan /East African reality show on Netflix is #thebahatisempire, which premiers on Friday, June 7, 2024… Oh Yes, I know you all had missed us on TV," Bahati shared.

The Kenyan musician further said, "The King and Queen of reality are back and it’s time for us to answer all your rumours as we share with the world our dirty, clean, sad and happy moments! This is unscripted… this is the best reality Kenya has seen, just trust me! See y’all on Netflix this Friday."
