On the radar: Gachagua to address summit on energy efficiency

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will address the 9th Annual Global Conference on Energy Efficiency.

It brings together global leaders in government, business and civil society from across every continent to accelerate policy action on energy efficiency.

The meeting is held at Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi.

It marks the first year in which the event is being held on the African continent and reflects the IEA’s strengthening partnership with Kenya, which recently joined the IEA family as an Association country.

Kenya Power to hold a joint media briefing with COFEK and the Scrap Metal Council.

They are expected to announce an anti-vandalism partnership.

EACC hosts regional summit

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drug and Crime (UNODC) and the Eastern Africa Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (EAAACA) is hosting a Regional Anti-Corruption Conference.

The conference brings together Anti-Corruption authorities, Procurement Authorities, Financial Intelligence Units, Investigative Authorities and High-level Government representatives from 10 countries in the Eastern Africa Region.

Head of Public Service, Felix Koskei will be the chief guest.
