President William Ruto is set to open Bunge Tower today officially.

The tower was to be opened on April 19 but the date was postponed following the death of Chief of Defence Forces Francis Ogolla and nine other military officers in a tragic air accident.

Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetang'ula announced the postponement on April 18.

The Tower which is situated directly across Parliament buildings, has a tunnel and 28 floors with a wide range of state-of-the-art facilities for MPs and staff.

Bunge Tower was initiated by the Parliamentary Service Commission in 2010 to provide sufficient office space for the MPs.

Machogu to officiate PASET conference

Education CS Ezekiel Machogu will today officiate the closing session of the three-day, 6th Conference on the Partnership for Skills in Applied Sciences, Engineering and Technology (PASET).

The event will take place at Safari Park at 10 am. 

Belio, Nancy Macharia to attend CBA Symposium

Basic Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang and Teachers Service Commission CEO Nancy Macharia are set to attend day 2 of the Inaugural Annual Symposium on Competency-Based Assessment (CBA).

It will take place at the College of Insurance, South C.

This is the second day of the three-day symposium.

EACC-UNODC to host an Anti-corruption workshop

EACC-UNODC is set to host an Anti-corruption workshop for media practitioners at Safari Park Hotel.

The workshop is themed Role of the media in the fight against corruption in Kenya.
