Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen spend Saturday in Nandi County in the company of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and other leaders.
In a post on his X account, the CS quoted Psalms 122:1, saying he had attended a Sabbath service and fundraiser at Kapserton SDA church in Mosop.
"Psalms 122:1 NIV I rejoiced with those who said to me, "Let us go to the house of the Lord"," he wrote.
Gachagua thanked the church for prayers and goodwill.
"We are grateful for the prayers, goodwill, guidance and wisdom we have always received from the Church that has set us on the right path in the socio-economic transformation of our country," he said.
They were accompanied by Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, Education CS Ezekiel Machogu, Basic Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang and Governors Stephen Sang (Nandi), Wisley Rotich (Elgeyo Marakwet) and Jonathan Bii (Uasin Gishu).
Others were Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei, MPs Abraham Kirwa, Cynthia Muge (Nandi woman rep), Josses Lelmengit (Emgwen), Maryanne Kitany (Aldai), Bernard Kitur (Nandi Hills) and Julius Melly (Tinderet).
