Ministry of Agriculture announces 65 job vacancies

The Ministry of Agriculture has opened applications for 65 vacant positions across its various departments.

In an advertisement dated January 30, the ministry seeks to recruit 21 animal husbandry assistants, 16 animal health assistants and 10 laboratory technicians.

Also needed are seven livestock production assistants, six leather development assistants and five housekeeping assistants.

The jobs are categorised under the Civil Service Grades (CSG)13-16 and fall under job groups D and G.

Interested and qualified candidates are required to make their applications by completing one application form PSC 2 form (Revised 2016).

"The form may be downloaded from the Public Service Commission website www.publicservice.go.ke.," reads the notice issued by Principal Secretary Jonathan Mueke.

"Completed application form should be sent to the Principal Secretary State Department for Livestock Development-Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, PO Box 34188-00100 Nairobi or hand delivered to the HRM&D Registry, Kilimo House, 2nd-floor room 2-17 on or before February 12, 2024, by 5:00 pm," it further states.

Among the privileges that successful individuals will get as contained in the advert are house, leave and commuter allowances including a 30-day leave entitlement.
